The NASDAQ 100 Companies List is recognized as one of the major stock indexes in the United States.

Many of the companies listed in this stock index are from the technology sector and have a major influence in the modern U.S. economy.

We are going to take a look at some of the most influential companies in the NASDAQ Composite Index in 2021.

Contents

The NASDAQ Composite Index is one of the three major stock indexes within the United States alongside the S&P 500 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average.

The NASDAQ holds a large collection of technology-based companies and that is one of the reasons that so many investors are interested in that particular stock index.

The companies listed within the NASDAQ are weighted by market cap.

Companies that have a larger weight will have more of an impact on the index’s performance.

It’s important to remember that the NASDAQ Composite Index updates in real-time during trading hours in the stock market.

While there are a lot of companies that ultimately have an impact on the NASDAQ’s performance, the top 10 or 20 companies hold a significant portion of the weight and ultimately have major control over the index’s price.

    Hi Gav,
I wonder if it works if I spend my whole living just trading SPY/SPX, QQQ, IWM/RUT only. And I only sell credit spread and Iron Condor to make life even easier. I may add a small position each time.
    Thanks,
    Michael

    Hi Gav,
I wonder if it works if I spend my whole life just trading SPY/SPX, QQQ, and IWM/RUT only. And I only sell credit spread and Iron Condor to make life even easier. I may add a small position each time and use up to 70% of my capital.
    Thanks,
