Summer’s here and the time is right for…. no, not dancing in the street, but reading some excellent trading related books. If you’re trading has been struggling lately or your motivation is waning, these books are sure to fire up that enthusiasm again and get you back in the game.

Here are 5 of my personal favorite trading books:

Trading in the Zone – Mark Douglas’ epic book is as popular today with traders as ever. This is always the first book I recommend for new traders.

Trade Your Way to Financial Freedom – Another of my all-time favorites, this book will really help you take the next step in your trading.

How to Make Money in Stocks – William O’Neill is seen as one of the foremost experts on stock investing and trading. His CANSLIM method has become very famous and is followed by traders worldwide.

One Up on Wall Street – In this book, Peter Lynch shares the secrets that made him such a successful investor for over a decade as head of Fidelity’s Magellan Fund. Lynch beat the S&P 500 in 11 out of 13 years for an annualized return of 29% per annum.

Charlie Munger: The Complete Investor – I haven’t yet read this one, but it’s on my wishlist. Currently the number 1 ranked book in the stock market investing category.

Happy reading!
